The Bechtler Museum

Interior Upfit (School of Paris Exhibit)

Project Description:

The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art which opened its doors to the public on January 2, 2010 is a jewel of a museum. DCG Construction was contacted by Wagner Murray to construct interior “movable sheetrock” walls for the Paris School Exhibit on the 4th floor.

The exhibition presents more than 60 works (paintings, drawings, prints, and artist books) from the Bechtler collection created by artists who are well represented in European museums. We created walls that are semi-permanent structures that can be can be taken down, relocated, or reformed.

The Project was completed in 41 hours “after museum hours”.
